Our favourite fashion  shoots on location in the street of Shoreditch

It’s no secret that Shoreditch is a hub for photographers, fashionistas and creatives of pretty much all varieties and we think you’d be hard pressed to find a person who said they’d never seen a photoshoot happening throughout its streets. Of course we’ve hosted many fashion shoots in our studio but sometimes you just need to get our there and shoot on location – Check out our handy guide.
Here we’ve bought together a few of our favourite examples of fashion shoots shot in and around the surrounding streets!

James White – Arnold Circus

James White is a fashion photographer represented by One Represents, this editorial was shot on Calvert Avenue and the areas surrounding Arnold Circus and the Boundary Estate. Britain’s first ever social housing contrasts rather starkly with later schemes with it’s beautiful red bricks and tiles and provides a fantastic backdrop.

YMC – Truman Brewery Rooftop

YMC is a British fashion label founded in 1995 with stores in Shoreditch just off Brick Lane, and Soho, and so it’s no surprise they chose the rooftop of the Truman Building to shoot their Fall / Winter Menswear collection this year.

Perseverance Works Courtyard & Rooftop

Of course when you hire First Option Location Studio you also have the option to shoot outside. As our clients know we are housed in Perseverance Works, a private courtyard in the heart of Shoreditch. We can arrange for you to shoot in the courtyard itself or far from the madding crowd up high on the roof space as shown below, with wonderful London skylines and a surprising amount of greenery still in view!
